Time to get Doctors involved?

How long did you ladies TTC before going to your doctor? How did you know it was time to get medical help?  I’ve been in this ‘oh it’s not really a good time anyways’ denial for about a year.  But I’m having to face the fact that after a while without even a scare (idk what else to call it) we might need some help.  Idk where to go from here

If you and hubby are hoping for a baby asap, don’t let yourself get caught up in the “not not trying” cycle too long before getting answers. I did with hubby for 18 months before having my daughter and then find out I have endometriosis. We’re TTC#2 now, and it’s taking forever all over again. I’ll be 33 this summer so time for me I feel is scarily flying by 😫 Most likely though a specialist will tell you to really give it your best effort for another 3- 6 months, temping, taking OPK’s, supplements and checking cm etc. before making you commit to a ton of possibly unnecessary and pricey fertility treatments :)

I was over 35 so I started infertility testing after 6 months of trying but I think the general rule is 1 year if you are under 35 years old.

We discovered male infertility before we even started. Then 2 mc later I was sent to a specialist. It was for the best. I now have answers and a treatment plan. Good luck 💜
