I’ve been trying to conceive for 16 months. Went to a reproductive endocrinologist in September and found out my husband has low volume. We had failed IUIs in November and December and were all ready for the 3rd <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> this week. But on the ultrasound, they found an endometrioma on my right ovary which they say grew because I might has been predisposed to endometriosis already but the medication I was taking to stimulate ovulation (letrozole) also stimulates the growth of this cyst. So now I have to wait for my next period and go in for an MRI to better assess the cyst likely followed by laparoscopic surgery to remove it before proceeding with fertility treatments. I’m so frustrated because it feels like we’ve been trying for so long and the medication I was taking to help actually made things worse for me. I’m glad they found the problem (my periods have been incapacitating these last couple of times) but really sad that we’ll have to put off getting pregnant even longer.

I guess I’m just looking for some support or maybe stories from any of you who have been through something similar and gotten pregnant in the end.
