Bruising?

I had a repeat cesarean on 1/29. I’ve been in a lot of pain since. Did anyone else suffer bruising? This is what my scar currently looks like 😭 
The bruising goes all the way down my vagina and even on my labia.

I would definitely talk to your OB about it if you haven’t already just to be on the safe side. I had some pretty solid bruising after mine, only on the right side though. During the section I could feel that they were pulling harder on that side so I assumed it was from that and when I mentioned it to my OB she wasn’t concerned. I also had daily blood thinning injections post-op which I’m sure contributed to the bruising.

I think some people just bruise easier than others.  I am a pail freckle face so my bruises look pretty nasty all the time.  I had a lot of bruising around in incision also, it went away after a few weeks.

mine looked way worse than that with my first child it was an emergency c section that I wasnt prepared for BC he was a 10 pound baby and I wouldnt dilate past 7 cm so they rolled me to surgery room. I didnt feel them cut me but I assure you I felt everything else the tugging I felt like they were ripping my insides out I was screaming I blacked out on the surgery table I had to have a blood transfusion it was a terrible experience for me. I was purple all down there for about two weeks they had used staples and glue plus stitches and my wound still busted open 3 times.

I had my c section on 1-17-18 I was bruised also. Around the VG area, the bruising went away. It’s just tender to touch. I have my postpartum check up Friday. Hopefully my incision is healing properly, and they remove the tapes.

Have you asked your ob doctor about the bruising? I had a c section and developed hematoma (blood clots) which caused mild bruising. But it was not as bruised as yours. My bruising went away after a week.
