Is your baby sleeping through the night? (More than 6 hours in one stretch?)

My LO is 15 weeks on Monday & he has slept through the night 3 times. He usually goes 4-5.5 hours, wakes up to eat for 10 mins, then goes back to sleep. So I usually only have to get up with him once or twice. But last night he blessed me with my third all night sleep of 10:30-6:45a without getting up 🙌🏼🙌🏼

My baby boy randomly started sleeping through the night (10pm-9am) when he was 8 weeks. He didn’t wake for feeds. So he gets all his bottles during the day. He’s 14 weeks now and sleeps 9.30pm-9.00am (and that’s me waking him up!). It’s great getting a full nights sleep!!

17 weeks tomorrow, and the longest she does is 4 hours stretches. which she doesn't do very often. Most nights I get 3 and 2.5 hour stretches.

15 weeks on Sunday and she usually makes it somewhere between 6-8 hours... so I usually am still up in the middle of the night, but getting reasonable sleep. She usually goes to bed at 8:30 and wakes up sometime between 2:30 and 4:30 am. Unfortunately she has terrible silent reflux so I have to keep her upright for 30 minutes after she eats which is tiring at 3 am. I’m scared about the four month sleep regression coming up though!

I was going to hit ‘No’ but i want a 😊 face with it! Gosh they are still so little and night wakings are 100% normal with ups and downs until 2 or even 3 years old. I don’t know what is is with this obsession with ‘sleeping through the night’ from such a young age. It’s unique to our western culture. Mine is waking around every three hours but it’s variable. A couple of times it’s been 5-6 hours but that’s rare. 
TIP: if you accept and even expect that your baby will sometimes wake at night, it’s a whole lot easier to deal with :) ‘sleeping through the night’ is not my goal or the holy grail... I’ve seen many parents whose babies slept ‘through’ from a few weeks or months, then these same parents inevitably lose their sh^t when baby goes through a leap/gets sick/is teething/learns a new skill/whatever and starts to wake during the night because they have needs and they’re a normal baby..... it’s so sad cause they start feeling resentful or even angry at the poor baby :(
