Too early to test?

Question

Been ttc. had my period the 1st of Januray so should have started my period around the 1st of February but hasn't shown. I've taken a couple of hpt's (not today) and they were all negative... Could I still possibly get a positive pregnancy test and it just be too early for it to be showing up or is the negative really a negative?

I’m in the same boat as you! My period hasn’t shown up yet either. My cycle is 28 days like clockwork, I got my period the 1st of January and was supposed to get it again the 29th and nothing. Took a dollar store pregnancy test and got a BFN, tried again on Wednesday since I would’ve been 2 days late and bfn, tried again on Friday at 4 days late and another BFN.  I might wait it out until Monday or Tuesday to see if AF comes and take a pregnancy test again so I would be a week late. I’m not sure if it’s the dollar store tests and I should use a first response one but at this point i wish I would get my BFP or AF because I’m driving myself crazy not knowing what’s going on 😞

It’s def a possibility that it could be too early. Take a test in a few days and make sure you take it first thing in the AM your first pee of the day has the most hormones I beleive
