Baby’s first outing? Guests?

When did you mommas take your lo out for the first time?
Are you limiting guests with flu season?

My lo is 11 days old, I’ve only taken her to her dr appts and one walk outside so far!
My husband is sick with a cold so he’s been wearing a mask around the house 😰

My twins are 11 days old and only immediate family my grandma and his parents and brothers have seen them. We went out for the first time today because their monitor was defective. It was in out and home. Tomorrow we will take them to meet their godparents and it will be hand washing and sanitizer till their hands burn lol. Other then that we don’t go anywhere and no one is allowed over idc how much you wanna see my boys. Flu and rsv not worth it.  I told family go ahead and be mad.

My LO is now 18 days old. I took her on a walk with my husband when she was 4 days old (secluded area, we didn’t interact with anyone). The pediatrician said fresh air is good for babies, but keep them away from all people until they’re older (unless they’ve had the flu shot and aren’t sick). I’ve taken her on quite a few walks since (because it’s hard for me to be cooped up inside). She’s only met my mother and the nurses/doctors at her pediatricians office.
The pediatrician also told me if we have to be around people, keep them covered and ask people to please give them space and privacy because they’re so young.

we only allow visitors over to the house. must wash and sanitize and make sure they have their flu shot. we've taken him out several times but keep his carseat covered the whole time so he is not exposed to anything

Only appts the first couple weeks and a few small walks, mostly for my benefit. Now she's a month old and were venturing out more but keeping the carseat covered in public. As for guests, they've been good about staying away when they have the sniffles or cough or anything.  My hubby got the flu when she was 2 1/2 weeks old. It was awful.
