We just hit our year mark of ttc and would like to take the next step by making an appointment with my ob/gyn. What should we expect at our appointment?

Answer

I just had mine. She told me that she wanted to go ahead and do a sperm analysis. She also wants me to come in about a week after ovulation to do blood work to make sure everything looks as it should for implantation to happen. Also in my case she wants to do an HSG to check my tubes. She made me feel so much better about not being pregnant yet. She told me at this point it could be anything from him having too many white blood cells to myself just having low progesterone. She listed several minor things that could be preventing it. She said to me it has been a year let’s get this moving a little faster.
