Coming Home outfit?

Does this look comfortable for a new baby? 
Due July 22, it will be Summer in Chicago. I can use a blanket to keep her warm if needed.

to me, it just looks like a lot to fuss with on a new baby. Theres no guarantee they’ll fit anything so I personally don’t see the point.  Even NB was too big on my guy when we came home.lol we just took 2 basic onsies, and saved the cute outfits for when we were up for guests / pictures.

For a newborn?! 😂 no. A standard onesie or pj's is all you need. Once you have you baby, you'll understand haha

Nope! all four of mine came home in footed onesie type outfits. Car seat check and comfort is all you should really fuss over the outfit for.

no sorry. her little.new skin needs something to cover from.sun and wind not just cool. it's so cute but give it a few weeks for that.

I used a sleep dress from Etsy... my husband said it was extra but what does he know?? Lol

thank you ladies for all your comments. I was uncertain about how comfortable it was which is why I ask and so I've decided to go with a soft cotton romper that's no fuss. my priority was to make sure she would be cool enough. July can be quite humid in Chicago.

If you like it buy it and do a baby’s first day home photo if you don’t end up using it for the drive home. It’s sort of one of those I think you won’t really know until you’re in the moment.

I’d honestly stick to a onesie. I’m getting a cute little footed onesie that has a couple ruffles at the top and a bow for pictures, but that’s about it. It’s such a fuss changing a newborn and realistically you change them so often it’s pointless to dress them up. I learned that the hard way with my first. It’s a VERY cute outfit though otherwise 😍

Awww. If you think about it, a baby has never had to wear clothes before. Ever. Get your baby girl something super soft and easy to get on/off. The super cute outfits may need to come at a later time. A simple, soft outfit would be my recommendation.
