I can’t post this anywhere els as to not upset anyone...I am English married to a US AIRMAN we moved from the UK to USA in October and my parents have come to visit for 3 months (until April) we just found out we are expecting baby number 2!! How exciting!!! However my mum has instantly gone in to I’m coming over in August with your brother until after the baby is born which rough due date is end of September also my mother in law I know will be wanting to come for the birth! Then my mum wants to come back with the rest of my family for Christmas or if we are able to us go back to the UK. I’m just getting overwhelmed because I’m very independent and of course the help will be great and I’m trying not to sound ungrateful but it’s just such a long time and she can kind of take over... I wouldn’t mind her coming for the birth and a couple weeks but for almost another 2-3 months is just insane for me. Am I being really ungrateful? And rude? How would you go about talking about it? Like I said I loved her to pieces but it’s just a lot while trying to settle in to a new home and a whole new way of life.
