cervical length?

has anyone had an U/S to check thier length? i thought they did it at the anatomy scan which ill be having thursday but i have been having alot of pressure this pregnancy so she wants another U/S to check it. anyone have any idea about this? this is my third baby and by far the hardest ☹

I had a transvaginal u/s last week and measured 2.7. The cut off for a “short cervix” is 2.5. They want to see me again on the 15th to remeasure. I’ve been reading a lot and there are some risks with having a short cervix but there are things they/I can do to try to prevent preterm labor. I would go in and get it measured and see if you need to even look into those options.

Mine has been checked at every ultrasound. I’m also high risk so I think it’s part of the policy with HR patients to check it and assess the potential for preterm labor.

They check mine every other week (I had a previous micropreemie) all vaginally (what fun 🤦‍♀️) gives them good info so if intervention is needed to prevent pre term, they have the info.

I have a lot of pressure too. They checked at my anatomy scan 2 weeks ago via abdominal u/s. I’ve read that a vaginal ultrasound will be more accurate though. They didnt do a vaginal for me since they could see that it was thick enough.
