Non-obvious useful gifts months 0-6?

My cousin is pregnant and I’m trying to come up with a care package of the gifts I found most useful for months 0-6 that I hadn’t thought or didn’t know till someone gave me then.

I’d say:

-a soft ball

-maracas (tag said age 3+ but the gift giver explained how great they were for tiny hands and she loved them we just watch carefully to make sure she doesn’t eat the ends)

-baby paper (this was especially fun in the early days)

Does anyone have any adds? Doesn’t have to be toys that’s just what came to mind.
