belly hard?

is my belly supposed to be firm?  I'm 9 weeks and 2 days. I read my uterus is supposed to be the size of a tennis ball

For some women yes, depending on your body type. If your uterus is pressed up hard against your abdominal muscles like mine was, then it can feel like a rock. My stomach got super super hard and you could see tons of baby movement from the outside because I was stretched so tight, but that didn’t happen for a while. At 9 weeks your uterus is still too low and tiny to make your stomach hard but as it moves higher up and gets bigger (taking up the whole surface area of your belly) your stomach may get very hard, especially if you are tiny.
