Is it weird to drink water from a glass jar?

I’m in year 12 and honestly don’t care about anyone’s opinions so I’m going to continue doing this regardless, but I was wondering what the majority opinions are.

I was drinking water from a jar today at school and my boyfriend and friends looked so uncomfortable and told me I shouldn’t let anyone see. They asked me why I’m doing this and it’s an easy answer. It’s not heavy and I can FREEZE it. That means I get cold water all day!

But I don’t understand why I should care? What’s the problem? I’m supposed to put jam or mayonnaise?

I freeze lemon water at night and then drink it all day. I can’t fit a water bottle so that’s why I use a jar... I’m 17 I can’t buy a freezer! I have a little fridge within a tiny freezer and I will repeat again I cannot buy a freezer.

I don’t live with my parents, I live with a ‘host family’.
