Sore throat after weed...?

I’m a familiar weed smoker however I noticed since I’ve been smoking almost every night this past month from anxiety, last night I developed extremely dry and painfully sore sinuses. I woke up this morning with the same issue. Tried sinus rinses twice since last night, water, Vaseline, and even cold remedies like soup and vitamin c but nothing worked. I’m concerned since it doesn’t feel like a cold and I don’t think it’s a sinus infection, but today my doctor brushed it off and said keep doing what I’m doing.

It’s just I’m a full time student with a job and I’m traveling this weekend and don’t want to get more sick if it’s a cold or infection. Is there a possibility I just burned my throat? How long does this normally last?

I have a sinus infection 😔😔😔 been pissed cuz first I had a cold, then the flu, and now this within a month .
