Baby wipes in vagina ?

So my friend is on her period and she thought it’d be a good idea to kinda shove a baby wipe a lil into her vagina to clean it around , but its been two days and her vagina has been super itchy ? Could she be having a yeast infection or is it just irritated ?

I’d definitely go in to see the doctor. Vaginas are self-cleaning and don’t need to be washed (or wiped).

Baby wipes are meant for sensitive skin like a baby’s butt, not the inside of our bodies. Definitely a bad idea, like someone else has said the vagina self cleans itself which is why we have white discharge. Tell her to go see a doctor if it’s still itching her, it could get worse, she may be allergic to the chemicals on the wipe.  If she can’t go see a doctor tell her to try and rinse her vag out gently with some water, like using the showerhead or in the bathtub very gently.
