Push Present for Husband Instead?

is anyone getting a gift for their SO when baby is born? I know push presents are a thing for us but what about the ones who had to deal with us??? any ideas on what to get?

My husbands push present will be the daughter that I push out for him😂 but it would be cute to get him a little something.

For dealing with us?! Absolutely not. I have gone through every pain, every sickness, every hospital admission and he gets a present because he was nice to me during that? No chance lol

I’m getting my husband one. He lost his dad recently and I know that’s gonna be hard for him - meeting his son and not having his dad around. So I’m making our little man a book of photos and stories of Grandpa so he can still be in his life 💙

I didn’t get my husband anything with our first )other than pushing out our kid), I don’t intend to this time either! He did get me a pretty necklace that says “Mom” with our daughters birthstone on it, but it was unexpected. Typically I’m against push presents, he just said he saw it and was going to give it to me for Christmas, but instead gave it to me a week later when our daughter was born.

I might just love buying gifts, but I already picked out a bomb pair of Nike shoes for Dad- and made him a little picture-book on Walmart.com/photos. Just a collection of him & the kiddos and wrote on the back “To an already amazing Father- keep up the impressive work!”. This is a special time for them that you can make more special- so, why not? (Cute photo from book included!)

With my first child I got him a nice bottle of scotch, with an engraved decanter and a cigar. Each time he would have someone over after my son was born they would toast the baby. It’s was his first child too so I thought he deserved a little to celebrate this huge moment in his life.

I do a nice hospital bag for him with a new outfit and toiletries and nice slippers... a little bit of cash and goodies.
