birth control and achne?

hey ladies! I just switched over from the patch to the pill and since I've had Alot of these little pimples coming in and not surfacing. all my life Ive never had achne problems but it seems like almost every time I wear make up I keep getting more and more, I wash my face 2 times a day , have tried face masks however it seems like everything I do has no effect. if anyone has delt with this before or has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. (:
