Is anyone else’s 3 month old not picking up toys?

Mine is 3 months tomorrow. He doesn't grab his toys himself but will take it when I put it in his hands. He grabs other things like the rail, his pillow, my hair... but I'm not sure if he's doing it consciously or if he's doing it because it's within his reach.

Mine is just starting to pick them up himself but usually will take it if presented. It's good to present a whole variety of toys so you can see what he is attracted to.
