Mixed hair products recommendations?

Question

My son is half white and half black and has very curly hair. The back gets super dry and wirey especially after laying on it. What are some good hair products you guys recommend? What should i use to wash his hair with to help with this also?

if it's a habit to wash his hair constantly , don't. it dries our hair out. he needs the natural oils to keep it soft and healthy. I would suggest once a week. deep condition after washing & moisture with a oil afterwards. I prefer extra virgin olive oil but there's hundreds of oils to try. try and find a curling smoothie or cream to use daily to keep it tangle free and defined. also only use a wide tooth comb with combing.

My daughters hair is thick n curly also and I literally just tried something I saw on YouTube and it works magic on her hair. Keeps it soft for days and help it stay strong. Shea Moisture leave in conditioner.. I can’t grab it right now because she’s sleeping on me😒 but it has blueberries and marshmallow in it... I was skeptical 🧐 but I love it now.. Plus black castor oil to help her thin areas grow in, but it doesn’t look like your HANDSOOOOME😍😍 little man has that problem☺️☺️

He is gorgeous! Stay away from silicones and sulfates. The Cantu hair line is what I use for my curly kids and I like it. Also - coconut oil. Don’t shampoo too often as curly hair is naturally drier and frequent washing will make it more dry. But you can condition as often as you want.

dont wash your babys hair much and when u do use cantu products they even sell the products at walmart.  then leave a little in his hair and comb it out.. then add coconut oil through his hair or a curl creme from cantu also :) my babies are mixed as well with same problems

I've watched a couple videos on these. Some people use  a little bit of conditioner, and leave it in, they don't rinse it out. Another one I saw was they used olive oil, and did the same process! You could always try it! :)
