Almost fainted in shower ?

I’m 15 weeks pregnant and I was taking a shower washing my hair . All of a sudden, my heart started racing and i got really dizzy and lightheaded . Is that normal while pregnant

Make sure you eat before you shower and don't have the water too hot.

I get that all the time but I have blood pressure issues.

I get like this its kinda scary so my partner just showers with me in case I get dizzy

My doctor said it is normal and can be your blood pressure dripping from holding still and getting too warm. He told me to be sure to move my legs every so often and that has really helped — halfway through my showers I am usually marching in place but I haven’t gotten dizzy since I started trying.

Usually when I get like that I have my Hubby sit in the bathroom with me and when I get out I sit and relax with some water.

I’m 30 weeks and still get like this. I usually end up sitting on the side of the tub with the cold air on me and just focus on my breathing. I also get really sick when this happens and extremely hot.

I had this issue for a while, I would have to leave the bathroom doors open and keep the shower curtain open a little bit to get some “fresh” air in. Sometimes I brought a glass of ice water with me. And if it got bad I would have to sit down for a few mins in the shower also.

yes it is, especially if you take hot showers, it happens to me as well I just turn down the hot water or I'll get out of the shower

yeah I actually fainted twice while pregnant with my first. you just need to sit down. my doctor said it was low blood pressure, it was really scary. I was actually at my babysitting job when it happened and the mom had to rush over to me and she started praying, I woke up and felt so embarrassed. i was standing in one spot for like 30 minutes and we were just talking, next thing you know Im on the ground. be careful!

I'm 15w and I've been like it today, I've been feeling a bit of it today though so don't know if I'm coming g down with something. If I've been standing up for too long today I've felt out of breath, dizzy and sick. I haven't drank a great deal today because I'm still suffering with nausea do don't know if it's a bit of dehydration. I've heard it's common though in pregnancy but like the other lady pointed out it could be something more do if it carries on I would get it checked out.
