Travel at 37 weeks?

Thinking about taking a 5 hour flight from Cali to nyc @ 37 weeks. Has anyone ever done that? Advice?

I don’t think airlines will allow you to fly after 36 weeks because of the risk.

Ya the cutoff for many airlines is 36 weeks, not a good idea....you could go into labor in the air and they would have to land the plane, inconveniencing a whole lot of people, or you could just end up delivering on the other side of the country, and then have to fly (or drive) back with a newborn...no fun, stay home, relax, prepare, sleep!

Nope not a chance. You could go into labour at any time, even in the air.
