What are things I should be doing with my infant at 3 months.
I’m a new mom and a young one if that matters any. My daughter is 3 months old and we’ve been realizing how much she’s transition from being a newborn to infant.
She beginning to notice her hands and what they can do. She knows how to stand on her legs, she even knows how to walk with them if I assist standing her up. She’s been doing that since she was a month and a half old. 🤸♂️ She responds to her nickname (we don’t call her by her first name and I’ve noticed she doesn’t answer to it .) she’s has a lot of control of her neck/head so she tries to sit up more.
So what are things that an infant her age should be doing? What are somethings I can do to better her development? What are some things she need more now from me as her mom?
All advice is welcomed.
So far I talk to her, play the alphabet and number songs to her. I also do tummy time to help her be able to gain control of her balance. I’ve been placing objects in her hand so she can start to see how different objects feel and how to grip things.
She hasn’t shown any signs of teething.
Thank you in advance.
