Have you giving your 6 month old the flu shot

I was just wondering if you have a have given your LO the flu shot mine is going on 7 months old and he was ant sick and I’m worried that if he got the shot it would make him sick . B cause I know they inject little bit of the virus into you to help you fight against it but I’m just wondering what all you other moms have done if you got it and if not and your reason for not getting it .
