St. Ives lawsuit on skin product??

So I was on Instagram on this site sayin to watch out for some products that r bad for ur skin. I was reading and it said (underlined) that there’s a lawsuit against St. Ives apricot scrub?? Has anyone heard anything on this?? I use the st. Ives green tea scrub and I’m sure it’s the same thing. Kinda freaking out so if anyone can give information? Also what exfoliating products do u guys use? I now will be changing products 😬😬

Yep.. it’s a widely known fact that st Ives damages your skin way more than it could ever help. Its too rough and the exfoliating beads are way to big and course

Yes Yes Yes!!! Walnut shells (despite how milled they are) are fairly sharp and can cause damage to the skin through micro cuts. When I was esthetics school we talked alot about this and I still don't mind the green tea scrub. but definitley don't use the apricot one it's just a tad too rough with our skin. ( not 100%)  on the lawsuit though

Just google it, there’s a lawsuit of 2 plaintiffs. Not a large case, it’s a rough scrub- if you’re sensitive don’t use it, if you have no problems with it continue. For the everyday normal user it doesn’t cause any damage via the findings. I’ve used it for 10 years with no issue, also use their green tea scrub

I haven’t used it in years because it’s really bad for your skin. The pieces they use in their exfoliants have jagged edges that scratch and tear your skin which caused more problems than it helps. There’s a bunch of other countries that have banned St. Ives all together. I steer clear. There are so many other types of scrubs out there.
