Do you like the Snapchat update? 👻

I don’t know if this was already discussed, but recently I’ve been seeing a lot of negative stuff about the new Snapchat update. I didn’t know what in the world everyone was talking about because my AppStore had said that everything was up to date. Yet, recently my Snapchat just decided to update itself and its totally random and—oh my god— I hate it. 😕

Everything just seems so cluttered, and to me it’s harder to view stories in a timely fashion because when someone messages you, their story gets pushed up so you can’t go in chronological order anymore. It’s just very weird. Obviously it’s a huge step that Snapchat was trying to take in order to stay “fresh” but come on, I think they could have updated it a little better than that.

Some people have gone so far as to say that they’re officially boycotting Snapchat until the Snapchat development team does something to fix this.

I would just also like to point out that they have add a few key features:

Official stores & popular stories.

Basically celebrities that you don’t follow show up on your discover as “official stories.” And people with a lot of viewers (mostly internet famous people who haven’t gained the “celebrity title” yet) show up as “popular stories.”

So to reiterate my question, do you like it? What are your thoughts on the layout? Is it too cluttered? And what are your thoughts on the official stories and popular stories..?
