fever for 3 days now

So my son is 7 months and he got sent home from daycare Wednesday with a temp of 100. Well ever since then he's had a fever of 100 or more with it being at 103. I took him to urgent care and they checked for the flu and that was negative bit they just gave him ibuprofen. I know there ain't much they can do but I would think a fever for this long wouldn't be good. He's had a stuffy nose for the last couple weeks but recently it's been worse. he's eating but not that much idk if it's because he can't breath or what and he's urinating but sometimes not that much. He's been taking Tylenol and ibuprofen but the fever still don't come down. Is this just something he has to ride out or should I take him back in?
