Fortified almond milk for a 15 month old?

Stupid question... 
my son is 15 months old. At around 10 months we were introducing whole milk and by 12 months we had put him on whole milk all together. He was EXTREMELY fussy so his doctor had us put him on toddler formula. My question is, do any of you give your 12+ month babies fortified almond milk? I’m really wanting to get him off of the formula but whole milk (cows) does not do well on his stomach.

I have given my son unsweetened almond milk since 12 months and he is a very healthy 4 1/2 year old.

There are some good reads on alterna milks on the internet. Pros and cons and comparisons among the options. I will have to give my twins a non dairy milk so I’ve been researching. I got one allergic and one sensitive.. the alterna milks can be very different so you should choose one that has the nutrients your looking for..

I’d chat with the doctor. The LOs need the fat content for the most part so maybe coconut milk? Unless they need the nutritional content of formula of course.
