First iui cycle

Hey ladies, I’m so nervous and excited that I’m going to start my iui cycle this month. It’s been a long wait! I have PCOS since I was 16, my entire life it’s been a roller coaster with my periods and birth control pills. I’ve been married almost 6 years and still not baby. Hopefully this month I can start that mommy to be journey. Long story short, my fertility doctor put me on prometrium on January 6th for 10 days to make my period come and start with the Scans and Clomid. My period never came. :( I went again to do a scan on February 8th and they told me that we shouldn’t wait for my period and start Clomid right away. The Re told me that my follicles were around 5mm I had two in one ovary and 3 in the other one ( the ones I saw). My endo thickness was 6mm which he told me it was good. I’m taking 100mg Clomid for 5 days and waiting for my next scan on the 19th. Which they would tell me if I’m ready to the trigger shot or iui !!! I’m so nervous 😟 and I hope it can stick in the first round !!!!! Anyone experienced something like this !!! Baby dust to everyone of us who’s in the same boat
