Sore Nipples before Period?

So, I’m not very sure of my normal symptoms for an upcoming period due to being on Birth Control for a few years.
I got off of birth control about 3 or so weeks ago, and have been using this app to track things.
According to this app, I was originally due for my period today. Doubting it would be exact this month, I adjusted and now it says two days from now.
I’ve had sore nipples since Thursday. We did have sex while not on birth control but have used condoms every time. 
Just wondering if this could be a new symptom for me and ‘hoping’ my period would be soon. I’m not experiencing anything other than that (no chocolate cravings, acne...etc).

Breast and nipple pain is a normal PMS, period AND pregnancy symptom.

I thought I was the only one!. My nips get super sore and sometimes my breasts hurt. I sent in to see the doc because I thought something was wrong but luckily nothing serious.

Thank you both for the input.
I’m thinking it’s not pregnancy, mostly because we have used condoms (which were not damaged), but just surprised as before BC I don’t remember this ever happening. Though that has been 3 something years now.
