My hubby and I want to name our son Percy Jackson. We like the name and can't think of anything we like more. The name is short for Perseus. Yes there is a movie called Percy Jackson and the lighting thief 😂 well aware of that. Hubby and I love the movies also sooo.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What do you think? Dumb? Or nah?

I think it’s a nice name but you have to be prepared for a ton of people mentioning that to you and to him as he grows up.

The name is great and remember by the time he grows up, most people won’t remember the movie... if you like it then don’t let anyone stop you.
