So I took a home pregnancy test on February 3rd and it came up positive. I have my first ultrasound appointment tomorrow with my OB to confirm everything. My husband and I may be going out this Wednesday with my brother-in-law, his fiancé, and my parent-in-laws for Valentine's Day at a local restaurant and my family and in laws aren't afraid to throw back some drinks and neither am I until I found out I was pregnant. (Don't worry, I haven't drank for several weeks because I came up with the flu in January) According to the last time I had my period, it says I'm 8 weeks pregnant. My husband knows I'm pregnant but I'd like to keep it a secret from family a couple more weeks until I'm further along. What were some ways you kept it a secret while eating out with family? I know they'll think it suspicious if I'm not drinking. Anyone have any drinks that look alcoholic but doesn't have alcohol in it? We also know the owners of the restaurant pretty well who also bartend (small town living 😊) so I could always go up to them and ask for something and I know they'd keep it a secret.
