Is it normal that the test was this dark on frer yesterday (3 days after missed period) and then only this dark today (4 days after missed period) on a dollar store cheapie ?

Yes. First response are usually more sensitive and the lines are darker most of the time. You could have also had more diluted pee with the second one. Either way, it’s a positive! Congratulations!!
