how do I get a 2 year old to use the potty in public places???

he uses his little potty all the time he will not pee in the pull up at all he will hold it but I don't want him to hold it too long. anyone have any ideas?

My daughter is afraid of public toilets because the flush is so loud so we sing a song to help calm her down while she does her business and cover her ears when it flushes. Is there a reason he won't use the public toilets or is it just because they're too big? A woman I know bought a portable potty for toddlers on Amazon for I think $19 that's collapsible. She said her daughter loves it and it's really easy to use.
