So for an oral communications class I take I get to do a big persuasive presentation on the benefits of a plant based diet after Spring Break. But in two days I am doing a mini informational presentation that is based solely on facts. No aleaker bias allowed So for that reason, I am going to focus on the environmentally based benefits since those are less emotional (compared to something like animal well-being) and statistic heavy. I was wondering if you guys wanted to help me out with any ideas of what to search specifically? And you can also pitch in ideas for my big presentation later on!

Some topics I've already thought of covering

-land usage (how plants require much less land than animals)

-water usage (plants need way less water)

-greenhouse gas effect (how animals produce a LOT of methane whereas plants absorb much of the CO2 in the atmosphere)

Update: I got an A on the speech and all of my peer feedback was really good!! A lot of people commented how shocked they were at the impact of factory farming. Might be able to get a few people to hop on the veggie train by the end of the semester 💚
