Rubbed his penis raw

So my boyfriend and I had drunk sex on superbowl sunday and he rubbed his penis raw. He said it was sore for a couple days and now it has some scabbing on it. We had sex last night and I didn’t know he was scabbed until right before so I rubbed some coconut oil on it hoping it would help keep from irritating it (and myself as I’m still a bit sensitive from it too lol) do you guys have experience and/or suggestions on healing it? Will the coconut oil help heal it? Thanks
