Do tattoos and piercings hurt?

I’m sorry but I just have to say this I think it’s kinda crazy when people ask if tattoos and piercings hurt. Like of course they hurt it’s a needle going through your skin like yes I understand that some people have a pain tolerance but you could ask how bad they hurt not if they hurt. Like idk I just think it’s kinda crazy please don’t get hurt by my opinion

That question bothers me too! I’d much rather hear how much it hurt because to be honest some of mine didn’t hurt. And I’m a weirdo who enjoys the pain of tattoos lol

I get annoyed with this question too.  Given my tattoo on my arm didn't hurt too much it felt like a cat scratching me but the tattoo on my thigh hurt so bad I almost cried. I always hate being told you don't like needles but yet you have two tattoos like what sense dies that make.

yes- getting a hoke punched in your body hurts and having a needle poke ink into your skin can hurt.

I feel asleep while my shoulder blade tat was being done. Litetally did not hurt at all. The one on my upper arm hurt a tiny tiny but on the areas he had to go over several times but it hurts less than a papercut or a cat scratch to me. Other areas hurt more so after i get my next few it mught change but I honeatly dont tjink they hurt at all. I find it super relaxing with the buzz of the gun.

I literally didn't feel my belly button piercing getting done, but all my other piercings had some sorta level of pain ranging from mild to a sharp pinch for a second. Piercings were always okay for me. Tattoos just depended on where it was and how long the session lasted!

Well to me I had they whole inside on the bottom of my arm done on my first tattoo so to me no it didn't hurt and actually didn't mind the feeling of it because I a weirdo and like the pain of tattoo's haha but it's what you can take and what your pain threshold is so no one can really tell you if it is going to hurt your or not? X
