Obnoxious?

So this is the dumbest thing I think I have ever written...I went out with my boyfriend Saturday night to see his boss' band. I am 4 months pregnant so I was DDing. I got to meet a few of his work friends as well. Well today he goes to work and his friends say to him "your girlfriend said she wished you fell in the toilet" ?!? 🙄 so the boyfriend gets all mad at me. And the conversation that actually happened was that my BF was in the bathroom for longer than a pee break 😜 and his friend goes "what, did he fall In?" And I actually said "I'd rather have him do all of that here than at home". Like I have no idea how that got taken in any different way then I don't mind him not blowing up our bathroom when we get home 😂 So are his friends really that dumb and too drunk to understand or should I have somehow said it a different way?
