Is ovulating on cycle day 12 normal?

Hey ladies! This is me and my husband's second month of officially TTC with baby number 1. My cycle is usually 26-30 days long and last month was the first time I took an ovulation test. I ovulated on day 12 of my cycle according to the Clearblue tests I used. I feel like this is a bit early because my "fertile window" is so close to when my period ends. Does anyone else have a similar cycle? How long did it take you to successfully get pregnant?

It’s usual to ovulate around day 12 with a cycle that long. My cycle is the same and my ovulation day is usually around day 12-14 each month. Not sure why your fertile window is right near to your period. As that’s a bit wrong. Is that the app that says that?

It’s different for everyone.. I was thinking of using tests to know when I ovulate.. but we got pregnant right away in October just by doing the deed almost every day. 🙄 I’m thinking about doing the test cause I’m lazy to do it every other day now😂

This was my cycle last month, my first month of TTC. Today is cycle day 11 and no LH surge yet, which I had on cycle day 11 of last cycle.

My cycles ranged from 25-32 days, so depending what length it was going to be I could ovulate on day 11-18. If you do find your cycles vary a bit month to month the ovulation tests are good for helping pin point the lh surge, as is checking your CM.
