I don’t normally post rants, but I’m so peeved right now! My best friend is 5 years older than me and she has decided she’s not having kids. Needless to say, she wasn’t very excited when I got pregnant because now my son gets all of my attention. I still make an effort to see her once a week for several hours, while my husband watches our son.

Anyway, she texted my husband today to ask if it was okay if he could watch our son on May 12 so she could take me to Taylor Swift. My husband said he would have to ask me if that date was okay since it’s the day before Mother’s Day and we were planning to spend the weekend at my parents house (3 hours away). My mom always plans a day out with my sister and me, then on Sunday we go to church, then brunch as a family. It’s a big deal this year because it’s the first year that I’m a mom! Well, before my husband could even ask me, she said she bought the tickets! I would normally be ecstatic because I love TS, but my first Mother’s Day is even more important to me. I should be happy, but I’m super bummed right now thinking about it😕.

In addition, she has told me before that I have to wait to get pregnant again until after her bday in August. Like seriously?? My husband and I are older (I’m 34 he’s 43), so we don’t have much time to waste. I love my friend, but she is so unsupportive of my decision to have a family.
