help please!

okay ladies, i woke up and felt a very sharp pain on my vagina so i instinctively felt around for it and i found a bump on the side of my vagina, now my next instinct was to take a photo. (i’m not posting that) and it sort of looks like a pimple, which is what i’m hoping for. but also has a hair in it, so could it be an ingrown hair; and should i worry? earlier i had scratched it, and it was hard, which concerned me but i just went to bed as i was trying to do. but now its a painful bump that i cant touch at all! please give advice or knowledge.
