What should I wear?

I found out my bf made reservations at a fancy restaurant for Friday night. He told me to dress up and wear whatever I like, whatever makes me comfortable. I don’t know if I should wear nice jeans and a shirt or a dress.. I have a gorgeous dress I’d love to wear but I don’t want to overdo it or anything. From what I’ve heard he’s wearing nice jeans, a nice button up shirt and his favorite tie. Please help me out!

Wear the dress you love!! You’ll feel great, I’m sure he’d love to see you in it! Don’t worry about over-doing it, just wear your hair down with light makeup if you’re worried about over-dressing! Have a great day!

Just ask him what he thinks would be most appropriate for you to wear. Whenever my boyfriend says this I ask him if I should dress more on the casual side or more on the formal side. :)
