Milk supply drying up?

I’m 10 weeks post partum and have been exclusively breast feeding. All the sudden it feels as though im not producing nearly as much milk as I have been, to the point where my breast’s feel soft all the time. Does anyone know why? Have any advice on switching to formula???

Are you actually measuring your amount over a 24 hour period? It’s normal for your breasts to adjust and make exactly as much as your baby needs. Breasts are smart. I will literally pump a perfect 4oz bottle every 3 hours and that’s what I feed my son. At 8 weeks I quit getting engorged and I made 28 oz daily. Before that I made 30 oz daily. So my breasts adjusted and that’s normal.

I thought the same thing but doctor said if he has more than two wet diapers a day and poops at least once every few days it’s fine. My boy pees 10 times a day and poops at least once. Apparently getting engorged is not the norm after your supply establishes. Good luck!!!

Try pumping after feeding the baby to increase supply. Also stay hydrated and eat oatmeal. There is also mothers milk tea that worked quite well for me. I exclusively pump since I was unable to breast feed my baby due to heart issues and her being hospitalized.

Your breasts being soft is totally normal. As long as your baby is having the right amount of wet diapers, your supply is likely fine!
