This little guy is a week old today. He had a tough start at life but is doing amazing now! His momma died during labor because his sibling was just too big to pass and the weather was very cold (she delivered unexpectedly so was still in very large pasture). His momma and sibling were already gone when discoverd. But this little guy was huddled under his momma's head to keep warm. His momma was always a very good mom. Finding and saving him was definitely a little silver lining in a very sad moment. Hoping he brings a little luck to our home as we are ttc our 2nd child. None the less he is lots of fun and is like having a baby in the house again as he takes a bottle ever 3-4 hours 😊 (He is a breed of sheep called Dorper) He will stay with us until he is strong enough to join the rest of the herd after he is weaned.
