confirmation and spotting

so today I finally got the confirmation from the doctor that I am 6 weeks along, however I started spotting pink when I wipe last night and today it has turned a bit heavier still spotting, no flow, only when wiping, but the color is now a reddish pink. I'm nervous, I told the doc and she said it is normal, which I understand, but I'm still worried, I've been ttc for 2 years and lost one over a year ago due to ectopic. I'm scared I'm miscarrying and there is nothing I can do!
