my husband is taking some online classes, he failed the first two that he took and was given a second chance to take them over again. He is doing all of this on the GI bill from the military and they are paying for it, if he does not pass the classes they may not let him take any more and he will have to pay them back. He will lose the opportunity to have his degree paid for, and I know that he does not want that. However, he has never been a good student and I am at a loss as to how to continue encouraging him to keep up with his school work. He is embarrassed to talk about it and will not stay on top of checking his grades or any feedback from his teachers or anything. He lets assignments go unfinished or will just let the due date pass and not give it a second thought. I try to offer to help, I try to sweetly remind him to stay on top of assignments, I try to ask how his grades are doing, I remind him that I am on his team and there's nothing to be embarrassed about, I asked if I can help him with any homework... He is so unwilling to let me help and I don't know what to do anymore it is so frustrating and I don't know what my place is anymore as his wife, I now feel like his mother and that is not good for our relationship. It makes him feel inferior which makes him not want to do anything anymore. And him acting like a child is making is making me honestly less attracted to him. What do I do??
