Wanted to share our news with you ladies:

About 3 months ago an ultrasound showed our baby to have enlarged kidneys. After several scans and a few months the last one we received was just after Christmas showing his left kidney to be 3x normal size.

Surgery seemed inevitable after birth.

Yesterday my midwife randomly asked me to get an ultrasound and so we did. The ultrasound technician showed us clear as day that his kidneys were of normal size. We cried and cried and laughed and laughed. So much stress rolled off of my shoulders upon seeing and hearing ‘it’s normal’.

Today is my due date. Looking so much forward to meeting this little guy.
