SPD??

Question

Anyone experience symphysis pubis dysfunction? I'm going to the OB tomorrow, but on the phone they said that's probably what I have. Seriously so painful to do everyday things (getting dressed, walking). It's making working in an ER very difficult!

Did you find anything to help relieve your pain?? I’m 22 weeks and just started having SPD. I had it very bad with my first but didn’t know there was anything you could do to help it.

I have it and I find that when I do strenuous workouts (usually 5-6 days a week), is when it affects me the most. I started doing some simple yoga stretches every morning for 5-10 minutes and found that it helps a lot. It’s definitely still there and noticeable but manageable. Before, I could barely walk because the pain was so excruciating.

I’m calling tomorrow about the same exact thing ! This is my second and I worked out before and during entire pregnancy with my first and never had any of this... I haven’t been doing too well with exercise this time around so I may be paying for it...

I haven’t been diagnosed with anything, but when I went to the chiropractor today I was explaining where I’m hurting and she mentioned that (she specializes in prenatal and infant). I’m planning on asking the ob if it gets worse. Good luck! I’d love to hear any suggestions
