So my boyfriend is leaving state for work after Valentine’s Day and I’m staying here to finish school so as a gift I plan to give him a teddy bear (Keep in mind we’re two grown as adults kinda) But it’s not just any teddy bear it’s a bear I’ve had since I was a little girl. I want to give it to him to take with him so that he’ll have something of mine that I’ve cherished for all this time. I was hoping to make him feel as if I’m still with him even though we’re miles apart. Thinking about it now it seems so dumb but it was meant to be a meaningful gesture. He’s (the bear that is) really old (he’s about 10-12) and so dingy, what if he’s not good enough or not presentable? What if my boyfriend thinks it’s dumb because I’m sure he probably went out and bought an actual gift and I just got my dirty old bear out of my closet and wrote a note.
