i was in some of the worst pain of my life

I tried having sex today for the first time ever with my boyfriend. We've had oral sex on each other before and there were no problems there. Today however, we tried to have P-in-V sex but when he tried to get it in, I had to recoil back in pain. I was extremely wet, wetter than normal actually, so I don't know what went wrong. He later tried sticking the tip of his pinky in and that HURT also. It felt like tiny razor blades were stabbing me and like burning. He was understanding and we ended up not trying again. Did anyone else experience this? How did you get over it?
