Not had the best first 3 months of pregnancy!

After getting 24/7 sickness and nausea from 7 weeks and not getting an appointment till 12 weeks to know there is 100% a baby we finally saw our baby on a ultrasound, was told everything looked okay apart from a slightly higher nuchal reading of 2.7 but was told not to worry. We done the screening blood test and expected to get results in the post. We had two days of getting excited and telling our close friends we are having a baby to then get a phone call from the hospital saying there was a problem with the bloods and there was high risk of a trisomy syndrome!

We booked to have a hormony test in London 3 days later having to pay £500 to go private, another 12 days later we finally get the results ...... everything is normal and low risk! My 1 in 87 chance has gone to 1 in 100,000!

I can finally get excited and tell people I’m pregnant with a healthy baby! The gender was in my results which I haven’t looked at 🙈doing a gender reveal Tuesday with the family
